Australian Grand Prix results: visitation significantly up

The Victorian Government has release results of the 2013 Formula 1 Rolex Australian Grand Prix and the 2012 AirAsia Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix, showing visitation to both events significantly up.

An estimated 323,000 people attended the 2013 Formula 1 Grand Prix over four days, the biggest four day crowd since 2005. An estimated 123,000 people attended the 2012 Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix at Phillip Island in 2012, a year-on-year increase of 28 per cent.
