Australian Tourism Accreditation Program (ATAP) Accredited Operator Highlight

26 /05/ 2017 Comments are Closed

Proud ATAP Accredited and 2016 Gold Victorian Tourism Awards winner, Cave Hill Creek business owner Tim Chandler speaks with VTIC about the advantages of being accredited through the Australian Tourism Accreditation Program.

Cave Hill Creek is proud to be accredited by the Australian Tourism Accreditation Program (ATAP), as a Camp/Adventure Activity Provider. Guests can rest assured that our services, facilities and systems meet independent benchmarks of quality and safety.

We would strongly recommend both ATAP accreditation and VTIC tourism awards to all small tourism businesses.  At the end of the day, receiving the tick, or winning an award is a bonus.  The process of preparing an application, however, is where the real benefits are.  Shining a light into all areas of our business, questioning ourselves why we do things and how we can do them better.  Prompting us to review strategic and financial goals, understand our products and what makes them valuable to customers.  How do people find out about our product?  What role do we play in your community? How sustainable is our business? These are all questions we now ask ourselves and our team annually.

And if you register and pay by 30 May 2017, VTIC Members are offered a 12.5% discount off your first year. There’s no better time to be accredited.
