So you want to start a tourism business? In 2012 VTIC will be hosting a new and improved series of Starting Up In Tourism seminars to assist budding business people achieve their dream of starting a tourism business.

Your local tourism association may be able to assist with marketing – they work with local government, the regional tourism association and Tourism Victoria to market and develop tourism in the local area. Get contact details for your local tourism association from your council.
Victoria has 74 accredited Visitor Information Centres and each of these has its own policy for stocking brochures.

VTIC often receives requests from people wanting funding to assist with the delivery of a project or event. As a membership-based, not-for-profit organisation VTIC does not provide funding; however we do have a fact sheet which provides information on a range of different funding and grant opportunities.
