Have your say on the future of Ballarat

17 /12/ 2014 Comments are Closed

VTIC-Enews-CityOfBallaratThe Ballarat Strategy is a long-term plan for the city to 2040, covering development, infrastructure and planning, and managing growth. The Preliminary Ballarat Strategy (November 2014) outlines for the first time the key concepts that are proposed to underpin land use decision-making in Ballarat over the next 30 years.

The Preliminary Ballarat Strategy has been released for public comment. Available for download here, it seeks to provide an update to the community on the proposed approaches being considered and investigated at this interim stage. Detailed analysis, refinement and review are ongoing.

On behalf of VTIC Chair and Ballarat Strategy Steering Committee Member, Jeremy Johnson, we encourage our members in the region, and those with an interest in Ballarat, to read about the Preliminary Ballarat Strategy and make comments and provide feedback. Public input is a vital part of the process.
