This month, we celebrate investment in regional infrastructure to service visitors, as well as programs to inspire and develop tourism leaders to ensure the sustainability of our industry.
Congratulations to East Gippsland Shire Council on the re-opening of its Bairnsdale Visitor Information Centre (VIC) after refurbishment. The VIC first opened more than 20 years ago and it has serviced more than one million visitors since then. The $125,000 refurbishment included specific features to reduce the carbon footprint of the centre. Read the full news story on the East Gippsland Shire Council website.
