Introducing White Night Melbourne

24 /10/ 2012 Comments are Closed

The Victoria Events Industry Council (VEIC) welcomes the exciting addition of White Night Melbourne to Victoria’s events calendar.

In February, Melbourne will join 20 others cities in the worldwide movement that is ‘Nuit Blanche’ by becoming a city that doesn’t sleep. From 7pm to 7am on 23 February, city spaces will be transformed by local and international artists with light, sounds, art and entertainment.

The event will fill the late summer spot in Australia’s festival season, occurring one week before Melbourne’s Food and Wine Festival kicks off on 1 March. The scope of White Night Melbourne will include the arts, culture, design, fashion, food and sport.
