Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) is Melbourne’s destination for big ideas and inspirational events. Hosting more than 1000 events each year, we’re internationally renowned for our incredible range of spaces, innovative design and jaw-dropping food.

We have a new position for a Director of Marketing and Communications, reporting to our CEO, and we’re ready to revolutionise, reimagine and invest in our marketing and communications functions.




You know the value of a well-crafted marketing and communications strategy to showcase a brand both nationally and globally. You’re well aware of the power of data and how to leverage it to create business strategies that will lead the evolution of our product and brand.

Your initiative, strategic thinking and pursuit of excellence will be key drivers of success. You’re familiar with a business wanting to push the boundaries and be at the forefront of customer expectations and know how to harness digital and data analytics to be cutting edge and relevant.

You’re recognised for your ability to create productive and positive connections with your industry partners, your stakeholders and your team. You’ll be committed to developing the capability within your team and other stakeholders to help achieve our strategies. You can demonstrate your ability to foster a culture of agility, innovation and courage to try something different.
