King Kong

29 /05/ 2013 Comments are Closed

Melbourne is in full swing preparing for King Kong with previews from 28 May. Produced by Global Creatures (Walking With Dinosaurs, How to Train Your Dragon Arena Spectacular), the production is being staged at Melbourne’s Regent Theatre and features a 50-strong cast of dancers, singers and actors.

King Kong tells the classic 1930s story set in Manhattan but it has been revamped to include a contemporary soundtrack (with artists such as Sarah McLachlan and the Avalanches associated with the project). The Victoria Events Industry Council (VEIC) recently welcomed Global Creatures as a member and wishes them a hugely successful season in Melbourne.
