Now in their 63rd year, the Victorian Training Awards recognise and honour the outstanding achievements of Vocational Education and Training students, training providers and employers.
This is a great chance for businesses to gain state wide recognition for outstanding achievements and contribution to VET in Victoria.
This year’s awards feature 15 categories including 6 individual categories, 3 training and 4 employer categories and an Industry Collaboration Award.
Winners will receive $5,000 and go on to represent Victoria at the Australian Training Awards in Canberra in November.
Nominations for the awards now open and will remain open for 5 weeks. To nominate an individual or employer for an award, please visit https://vta.awardsplatform.com/.

There’s no better way to meet new leads and make new connections after a busy day at work than at the hugely successful Fast Forward Speed Networking events.
Join the Victorian Chamber on Tuesday 13 February and meet a huge bunch of like-minded individuals over two rounds of speed networking.
You won’t be locked into a long conversation with anyone as you only get two minutes to chat before moving onto the next business contact. So all you need is a brief, punchy narrative about why you are here and what makes your business great, and remember to swap business cards, of course!
After the formal networking rounds, you still have plenty of opportunity to further network with those who you wish to continue the conversation with over canapes and drinks.
To ensure a great mix of companies, only two people from each business can attend.
So who’s coming from your organisation? Hurry – this event is always over-subscribed because Fast Forward Speed Networking works!
