Policy Committees
VTIC's membership is structured around 6 key industry sectors:
A policy committee which focuses on important policy issues will be established for each of these sectors. The committees will comprise VTIC members who have chosen the industry sector most appropriate to their business operations and have been elected to the committee. Elections will take place ahead of the first VTIC Annual General Meeting to be held in October 2012 for three of the sectors, and the remaining three will occur in 2013. The term is two years on Policy Committee.
Each policy committee will elect a Chairperson who in turn gains a seat on the VTIC Board, ensuring the voice of each industry sector is carried through to the executive level of VTIC. Until the elections, the VTIC Interim Board have appointed convenors to lead the policy discussion for each sector.
