Victoria has once again been confirmed as the events capital of Australia, with the Victoria Racing Club (VRC) winning Best Major Event at the Australia Tourism Awards for the Melbourne Cup Carnival. Congratulations to the team at VRC!

The Australian Tennis Open, White Night Melbourne and Chinese New Year celebrations all showed that Victoria really is the heart of Australian events. We cannot wait for other signature events on the horizon, including the Formula One Australian Grand Prix and the Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival, with its associated regional events. Melbourne Food and Wine Festival is another key highlight of our events calendar that incorporates a compelling and broad-reaching program of regional events.
