RACV Victorian Tourism Awards
VTIC is again proud to sponsor the 2013 RACV Victorian Tourism Awards. We encourage tourism operators to enter these Awards as it is not only a great tool for looking at the way your business operates but it also honours outstanding tourism businesses and individuals for their passion, innovation and service to Victorian tourism.
As part of our involvement, VTIC presents a series of preparatory workshops across Victoria to assist businesses in entering this year's awards. Workshop attendees are treated to valuable tips and suggestions from judges, mentors and past winners which will assist with writing their submission.

2012 VTA Workshop Video Online!
In a first for the RACV Victorian Tourism Awards (VTA), a recent awards preparation workshop was recorded and is now available to view online. This workshop was held and recorded at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) using recently introduced audio-visual technology called M-Channel. MCEC clients can record their conference, seminar or workshop; the live recording is then combined with the relevant PowerPoint presentation used to create an easy-to-follow video package of the event.
MCEC kindly offered to pilot this service for VTIC and Tourism Victoria for a 2012 VTA Workshop - view the end end product here.
Those who were unable to attend a workshop, and experienced entrants who need a refresher, are encouraged to view the workshop video, which provides a step by step guide to answering the submission questions, as well as tips and advice from a panel of VTA judges and mentors. Note: This is not a downloadable file. This is a live link to a full length recording of an actual VTA Workshop, duration approx. 2 hours. The video can be viewed and paused on-demand. You can also skip forwards and backwards through the presentation as desired.
Writing and Editing Services Available
Tourism Victoria and Awards stakeholders have compiled a list of businesses throughout Victoria who offer a submission writing and editing service for entrants that may require assistance with their submission. It is up to entrants to make contact with businesses offering support and obtain their own quotes.
