Current Visitor Information Servicing Reduced Hours and Closures due to COVID-19

With the ongoing situation regarding COVID-19 and the announcements by Federal and State governments regarding public health and safety, the below accredited Visitor Information Centres have modified their hours or closed to walk-in visitors:

Daylesford and Macedon Ranges

Bacchus Marsh VIC: Closed until further notice. The library complex in which the VIC is located is also closed.

Daylesford VIC: Closed to walk-in visitors until further notice. Tourism officers will continue to work within the premises to answer all phone and email enquiries and brochures available outside.

Woodend VIC: Closed to walk-in visitors until Tuesday 14 April. Tourism officers will continue to work within the premises to answer all phone and email enquiries.

Kyneton VIC: Closed to walk-in visitors until Tuesday 14 April. Tourism officers will continue to work within the premises to answer all phone and email enquiries.

 

Geelong and the Greater Bellarine

The tourism office is open with reduced staff numbers as many team members are currently working from home.

Geelong VIC: Closed to walk-in visitors until Wednesday 1 April. Phone and email enquiries will continue to be answered.

Queenscliff VIC: Closed to walk-in visitors until Wednesday 1 April. Phone and email enquiries will continue to be answered.

Bellarine VIC: Closed to walk-in visitors until further notice. Phone and email enquiries will continue to be answered.

 

Goldfields

Loddon VIC: Closed to walk- visitors until further notice. Phone and email enquiries will continue to be answered.

Ballarat VIC: Closed to walk-in visitors and ambassador program cancelled until further notice. Phone and email enquiries will continue to be answered.

Central Goldfields – Maryborough VIC: Closed to walk- visitors until further notice. Phone and email enquiries will continue to be answered Monday – Friday to accommodate changing resources needs to ensure other Council functions can operate.

Castlemaine VIC: Closed to walk- visitors until further notice. Phone and email enquiries will continue to be answered.

Maldon VIC: Closed to walk- visitors until further notice. Phone and email enquiries are diverted to Castlemaine VIC.

Bendigo VIC: Closed to walk-in visitors until further notice. Phone and email enquiries will continue to be answered.

Heathcote VIC: Closed to walk-in visitors until further notice. Phone and email enquiries will continue to be answered.

 

Gippsland

Prom Country VIC – Foster: Closed to walk- visitors until further notice. Phone and email enquiries will continue to be answered.

Bairnsdale VIC: Closed to walk-in visitors until 30 April. Tourism officers will continue to work within the premises to answer all phone and email enquiries.

Lakes Entrance VIC: Closed to walk-in visitors until 30 April. Tourism officers will continue to work within the premises to answer all phone and email enquiries.

Central Gippsland VIC: Closed to walk-in visitors until further notice. Tourism officers will continue to work within the premises to answer all phone and email enquiries.

Latrobe VIC: Closed to walk-in visitors until 13 April. Phone and email enquiries will continue to be answered.

Cowes VIC: Closed to walk-in visitors until further notice. Phone and email enquiries will continue to be answered.

Inverloch VIC: Closed to walk-in visitors until further notice. Phone and email enquiries will continue to be answered.

 

 

 

Grampians

Horsham VIC: Closed to walk-in visitors until further notice. Tourism officers will continue to work within the premises to answer all phone and email enquiries and brochures available outside.

Ararat VIC: Closed to walk-in visitors until further notice. Tourism officers will continue to work within the premises to answer all phone and email enquiries.

 

Great Ocean Road

Torquay VIC: Transitioned to phone, email and website-based enquiries until further notice.

Lorne VIC: Transitioned to phone, email and website-based enquiries until further notice.

Port Campbell VIC: Traditional in counter service and mobile visitor servicing suspended until further notice, with visitors to be greeted and service provided behind glass. A mail slot will be used to deliver brochures and maps selected.

Warrnambool VIC: Closed to walk-in visitors until 3 April. Tourism officers will continue to work within the premises to answer all phone and email enquiries.

 

High Country

Y Water Discovery Centre: Closed to walk-in visitors until further notice. Phone and email enquiries will continue to be answered.

Rutherglen VIC: Closed to walk-in visitors until further notice. Phone and email enquiries will continue to be answered.

 

Melbourne and Surrounds

Fitzroy Gardens VIC: Closed to walk-in visitors until further notice. Phone and email enquiries will continue to be answered.

Melbourne Visitor Hub at Town Hall:  Closed to walk-in visitors until further notice. Phone and email enquiries will continue to be answered.

Queen Victoria Market VIC: Closed to walk-in visitors until further notice. Phone and email enquiries will continue to be answered.

Bourke St Mall Booth: Closed to walk-in visitors until further notice. Phone and email enquiries will continue to be answered.

Werribee VIC: Closed to walk-in visitors until further notice. Phone and email enquiries will continue to be answered.

Hobsons Bay VIC: Closed to walk-in visitors until further notice. Phone and email enquiries will continue to be answered and brochures and maps available outside.

 

Mornington Peninsula

Dromana VIC: Closed to walk-in visitors until further notice. All tourism staff will be working from home, providing visitor information services via phone, email or online chat.

Sorrento VIC: Closed to walk-in visitors until further notice. Phone enquiries will continue to be answered and brochures and maps available outside. Signage also directing visitors to call Dromana VIC.

Frankston VIC: Closed to walk-in visitors until further notice. Phone and email enquiries will continue to be answered.

 

Phillip Island

Phillip Island VIC: Closed to walk-in visitors until further notice. Phone, email, social media and website enquiries will continue to be answered.

 

The Murray

Numurkah VIC: No staff or volunteers will be on site, however the other business in the same building remains open. As such, open during the week only for visitors to help themselves to brochures or maps until further notice.

Cobram-Barooga VIC: Closed to walk-in visitors until further notice. Phone and email enquiries will continue to be answered.

Nathalia Barmah VIC: Closed to walk-in visitors until further notice. Phone and email enquiries will continue to be answered.

Yarrawonga Mulwala VIC: Closed to walk-in visitors until further notice. Phone and email enquiries will continue to be answered.

Echuca Moama VIC: Closed to walk-in visitors until further notice. Tourism officers will continue to work within the premises to answer phone, email and social media enquiries.

Mildura VIC: Closed to walk-in visitors until further notice. Tourism officers will continue to work within the premises to answer phone, email and social media enquiries, brochures available outside.
