30 /12/ 2015 Comments are Closed

View the map to see access to the region and alternate routes to Apollo Bay and Twelve Apostles.

Please note: For licensed tour operators travelling to the Port Campbell National Park and the Twelve Apostles visitor site, we advise accessing the Great Ocean Road using these routes:

  • via A1 to Colac and take the C155 to Lavers Hill joining the Great Ocean Road B100 travelling west towards Princetown
  • or travel to Camperdown on the A1 and take C164 to Port Campbell, joining the Great Ocean Road B100 to access the Port Campbell National Park and the Twelve Apostles visitor site.
  • or the Forrest to Skenes Creek Road C119 is open for access to Apollo Bay. Please note, emergency vehicles, firefighters and aircraft will still be  working in the area, including Forrest and Birregurra, where base camps are operating for firefighting personnel.

The road remains closed between Lorne and Skenes Creek

The map includes key emergency messages and details.

We encourage everyone to continue to refer to www.emergency.vic.gov.au as we are in a dynamically changing environment and this is the source of all official information.
