The role

  • RACV Head Office, Melbourne CBD.

The prestigious RACV City Club has been awarded Club of the Year numerous times, ranking it amongst the world’s finest clubs.  Featuring restaurants, accommodation, a fitness centre and conference facilities, the RACV City Club is a social, leisure and business hub designed to cater for the needs of all members.

A day in the life 
As one of our Club Events Coordinators you’ll play an important role in providing people with the opportunity to connect with the RACV Club and other members through unique experiences. You’ll be responsible for developing, coordinating and delivering events and activities that excite our Club Members, ensuring our members gain the best value from their membership.

As part of your day-to-day, you’ll develop an understanding of Club Member wants, needs and expectations and use this to identify improvements in Club offerings, events and communications. You’ll have frequent facetime with our members and you’ll need to be flexible to attend events outside of business hours. This role is primarily based at our City Club however, there may be times when events are at Healesville Country Club.

You will be supported by your team and work closely with our Conference & Events Team, Food & Beverage Department and Central Reservations.

We’re looking for…

  • Previous experience within a membership or loyalty environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to quickly build rapport with others.
  • A team player who displays initiative and a positive mindset.
  • Strong administration and organisational skills.
  • The ability to resolve and diffuse member complaints.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid Working with Children’s Check.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
  • The ability to work outside of office hours, as determined by each event.
