About the role:

The Events and Venues Officer provides administrative and operational support across the Commercial and Corporate Partnerships Team. The role is responsible for administering event management databases including checking venue bookings, allocating furniture and equipment resources, helping to resolve queries, and taking the initiative to ensure effective venue utilisation.

The Events and Venues Officer is accountable for the following measurable outcomes:

  • Accurate and up-to-date event management databases and systems.
  • Effective venue utilisation by following bookings guidelines and identifying issues.
  • Ensuring operational documents, manuals and resources are accurate and up to date.
  • Providing timely, responsive administrative and operational support.
