Warrnambool City Council is now seeking to appoint an experienced Manager Economic Development and Tourism to provide strategic direction and influence economic development and tourism outcomes for Australia’s most liveable regional city. The outstanding leader will have a proven track record in developing and implementing strategies to grow regional economies in collaboration with the Council, private sector, industry bodies and all tiers of government.

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate extensive knowledge, experience and proven success in a similar senior economic development and tourism role. A demonstrated high level of commercial acumen, innovation and entrepreneurial flair and well developed communication and interpersonal skills is essential. With demonstrated values based leadership approach and extensive experience, you will be outcome focused with the ability to work broadly across the organisation and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
