Tennis Australia (TA) is one of the largest sports, entertainment and media production houses in Asia-Pacific. In recent years, we have experienced unprecedented growth of the Australian Open, which has seen us expand our operations to Hong Kong, Shanghai & Chengdu.
We are now building our team so we can deliver the most spectacular summer of tennis yet in 2020. The Australian Open and AO Series Events will be back bigger and better than ever. On top of this, we are launching the ATP Cup, a premier team event held across Brisbane, Perth and Sydney that will see the world’s top male players take to the court. As a result of this growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded Sales Manager – Partnerships (SMP) to join our team.
Reporting to the Director of International Business, you will lead a team of Business Development Managers (BDMs) to generate revenue and secure new partners. These new partnerships will be for properties such as the Australian Open, ATP Cup, Adelaide International, Brisbane International and Hobart International. You will sell within a creative and solution-based environment by understanding how brands can creatively leverage TA properties to reach, connect and engage with consumers for their benefit and to support their business objectives. Solutions may incorporate sponsorship rights, activation across multiple platforms and distribution points such as broadcast, media, onsite experiences, community engagement, licensing, retail, trade, digital, social media and leveraging talent.
