Melbourne Cricket Club

  • Part-time (30.4 hours – Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday)

The Melbourne Cricket Club has the public responsibility of managing one of the largest and the most successful stadiums in Australia and the world – the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). The MCG is host to more than 70 major events annually, attracting over three million patrons and visitors.

The Commercial Operations & Partnerships Team are responsible for the MCC’s marketing initiatives, including corporate sales, business development, advertising, merchandise and commercial arrangements with sponsors, suppliers and partners.

A newly created part-time position has become available in this dedicated and talented team, for a Stadium Content Coordinator. Reporting to the Digital & Insights Manager, the primary responsibilities of the role are to:

  • Plan & publish relevant digital content across the MCG IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) network along with other MCG in-stadium channels
  • Enhance the customer experience on event and non event day. It is also to deliver excellent customer service to key stakeholders, including support and best practice advice to ensure timely and effectively delivery of content.
  • Deliver IPTV content requirements on MCG event days (up to 15 event days per year).

The successful candidate will be:

  • A tech savvy individual with a positive can-do attitude, who has a strong interest in digital technologies and digital marketing channels
  • Process driven, organised and have exceptional communication skills both verbal and written with a strong attention to detail, and be results and outcome focussed
  • A team player that prides themself on their exceptional customer service and and has an ability to build meaningful relationships with stakeholders.

If you have knowledge or experience using content management systems and the adobe design suite and a relevant qualification that would be an advantage.

Please note you will be required to be available to work on the event day roster or other activities (up to 15 events per year) as a part of this role, which may fall outside of business hours, weekends and public holidays.
