VTIC is excited to take on the management of ATAP (Australian Tourism Accreditation Program) in Victoria and are delighted to welcome Erin McLeod and Annika Hoffmann from ATAP Victoria to the VTIC team.
This is an exciting development for the program and we look forward to the benefits this will bring to both VTIC and ATAP, including greater support for business development and growth, further engagement opportunities and shared resources. ATAP is an Australian wide, online quality management program, which documents a business’s practices and procedures.
Based on Quality Assurance principles, the Program certifies tourism businesses that meet specific operational criteria which ensures that they are committed to sound business practices which deliver quality, reliable, professional tourism experiences. ATAP is open to any business that operates in visitor servicing and will assist in demonstrating to customers that a business is meeting or exceeding industry standards as well as having a commitment to quality, and shows industry leadership and initiative.
