Melbourne Metro Rail Authority present to the tourism industry

01 /09/ 2017 Comments are Closed

The Melbourne Metro Rail Authority (MMRA) presented to tourism industry stakeholders on 29 August 2017 with information on the current status and future plans of the Metro Tunnel. Key MMRA staff members were in attendance to answer the questions and concerns raised by the tourism industry. VTIC has been provided with the presentation to share with our members.

MMRA and relevant contractors want to remain connected to Victoria’s tourism agencies and operators to ensure the project leverages off Melbourne and Victoria’s already strong tourist appeal. If you have any feedback about how the Metro Tunnel Project should conduct ongoing engagement, or feedback from the presentation, please send through to Luis Narvaez, MMRA Communications and Stakeholder Relations: luis.narvaez@melbournemetro.vic.gov.au
