MELBOURNE TOURISM INDUSTRY EXCHANGE

25 /07/ 2012 Comments are Closed

The Melbourne Tourism Industry Exchange is turning five this year and Destination Melbourne has announced that the event will take place on Tuesday 4 September as part of the Victoria Tourism Week celebrations. This year, the event will be revamped with a new venue. ZINC at Federation Square, right in the heart of Melbourne, will play host to the tourism industry’s biggest information exchange.

The Exchange provides the opportunity for representatives from across the tourism industry to engage at a grassroots level – to network, exchange information and share knowledge. It’s a great way to receive the latest industry updates, connect with tourism businesses and industry representatives, and network in a relaxed environment.

Why you should attend this event:

  • To get the latest news from attractions, regional destinations, retailers, tour operators, industry bodies and other service providers who will be showcasing their products as exhibitors
  • To connect with tourism operators and industry representatives
  • For the chance to win heaps of fabulous door prizes and giveaways throughout the day!

“It was an excellent opportunity to meet operators, to learn about their products and to discover ways in which we can work together…” – 2011 MTIE attendee.
