We want you! Some 55 per cent of the 2012 RACV Victorian Tourism Award winners were supported by the VTIC Mentor Program. We are now seeking expressions of interest from industry leaders to participate in the 2013 program. Share your knowledge and help individual businesses achieve excellence with potential recognition at the state and national level.
VTIC, with support from Tourism Victoria, coordinates the program, which is aimed at promoting industry excellence and business improvement. Are you interested in becoming a mentor? The following experience/achievements are desired:
- an individual from a business that has won a past award
- a demonstrated leader in the industry
- a judge or mentor in the VTA within the past three years
- a VTA Hall of Fame member.
Being a mentor is a voluntary role, with expenses reimbursed.
You will be matched with a minimum of two entrants; the average time required per entrant is approximately five hours
Each mentor will be invited to represent the RACV Victorian Tourism Awards program as a guest speaker at an Awards Workshop that is coordinated and facilitated by VTIC.
The mentor role is to provide support and advice to businesses in preparing submissions.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in participating in the mentor program or phone Chris Porter on 03 8662 5428 to discuss further.
