What does the current economic outlook mean for your business? What financial management strategies do you need to be considering in the current environment?
In this session, we have partnered with Bank of Melbourne to welcome Chief Economist Besa Deda and Executive Manager for Small to Medium Enterprises Damian Brander.
Bank of Melbourne’s Chief Economist since 2008, Besa leads a team of economists to formulate forecasts on the economy and financial markets. Besa previously held economic and strategy roles at Commonwealth Bank and the Colonial Group, and regularly appears in the media as an economic commentator. Besa is Secretary of the Australian Business Economists Association and a member of the Melbourne Economic Forum, and has previously lectured for a leading education institution.
Damian Brander is an Executive Manager in Bank of Melbourne’s SME division, with an extensive banking career spanning more than 15 years. Prior to banking, Damian was a professionally trained chef, working in establishments such as Grossi Florentino, Caffe e Cucina group and Bondi’s Icebergs, before going on to own and operate multiple restaurants himself.
