Victorian Tourism Awards deliver more than trophy

Like any business Alkina Lodge understands that you must keep up with new developments, adapt to an ever-changing business environment and stay connected within the industry. The Victorian Tourism Awards ensure that we do this.

We originally entered the Victorian Tourism Awards to showcase our product to a wider audience, but throughout the process have learnt the Awards have been far more beneficial than we could have imagined.

The structure in which the Victorian Tourism Awards submission is entered forces all participants to systematically analyse the systems and procedures that the organisation has in place, This process alone has been extremely helpful and has brought many positive changes, from the way we collect and use data, set marketing objectives to our sustainability practices and our customer service procedures.

Winning Gold for the past two years has certainly achieved our original goal of showcasing our product to the wider tourism industry. It has also been a great chance to network with industry leaders from all over Victoria and is a fantastic
resource for marketing to our potential guests.

While the Awards process is a lot of work, we would certainly recommend participating and are sure that it will have a positive impact on any business.

As a token of our appreciation we would love to extend a very generous offer to VTIC members who book a two night stay with us. We will offer a 25% discounted rate. Please contact Cindy and Jordan to make your booking 0401 056 031.
