VIS Reference Group Activity 2018

The VIS Reference Group farewelled the outgoing Chair, Susan Beniston (Melton VIC), and Deputy Chair, Mary McArthur (Grampians), in February and welcomed Teresa Mahood (Phillip Island) and Nicole Pretty (Bendigo VIC) as Chair and Deputy Chair respectively. Nicole Pretty moved on to a new role in August, and Alison Angus (Benalla VIC) was welcomed as Deputy Chair in October.

The current Chair and Deputy Chair terms will run until June 2019, with the new Chair and Deputy Chair to be announced at the 2019 VIS Summit.

VTIC recognises Susan, Mary and Nicole for their outstanding service and contribution during their terms on the Reference Group, including amending the Visitor Information Servicing Guidelines to increase flexibility with service models.
